Buffalo Moons

Monday night I got out with the full moon and the buffalo at the Wild Idea Buffalo ranch on the Cheyenne River. I caught a couple hours of sleep before my alarm went off at 11:30pm to watch and hopefully get a shot of the eclipse. Although the temperatures were not what I call my *”optimal outdoor” photography weather *(50 degrees, no wind or snakes), I had a fantastic time. Out of about a hundred photos, I have one offering from my monday night excursion. Although not a great shot, the sky turned such an intense blue before the darkness fell, that I wanted to share it with you. Luckily Bonny Fleming, our good friend, talented artist, and creative design contributor to Wild Idea Buffalo Company,  came out to capture the moonrise. What a fantastic eye she has. This is  a small sampling that she has given permission for us to use. These photo’s and more of Bonny’s work can be found by going to, http://bonzeye.asiostudio.com. Rumor has it that they are for sale! Thank you Bonny.
