Returning from a family vacation today, I found that the prairie colors had changed to rich amber color that wasn’t there when I left. Needing to recenter myself and regain my balance, I grabbed my camera and headed out to the buffalo. They seemed quite content on this first day of autumn. Just beautiful, Dan. I was in your area in Aug. on a seven day tour. It wasn’t enough time to see all I wished to see, but what I saw and what I felt. . . . . .it gave me a little insight into the wonder, the magnificence of SW South Dakota. I understand you falling in love with it.
